Regent signs an agreement with San Joaquin County, California to serve as project manager for construction of phase-2 of the County Agricultural Center located in Stockton.

May 2007

Regent announces plans to expand to Orange County, California under the direction of the company's founder, John Thomas.

March 2007

Regent announces on-site construction of the Sheraton Stockton Hotel at Regent Pointe has commenced.

January 2007

Regent completed negotiations with First Bank for construction financing of the Sheraton Stockton Hotel at Regent Pointe in Stockton, a seven story facility consisting of 180 hotel rooms and 42 condominium units. The facility will be owned by Regent and operated by Regent as a Sheraton brand hotel under a license agreement with Starwood Resorts.

November 2006

Regent Development had entered into a Development and Disposition Agreement with Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency for the Regent Place project.  This project is a 4-story mixed use building located at 9th Avenue and Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento. The project, which is estimated to cost in excess of $25,000,000, retail/office space and approximately 38 residential units. Regent expects to complete the project in the summer of 2008.

November 2006

Regent Development had entered into a Lease/Leaseback Development Agreement with the Sacramento City Unified School District for the 500 student America’s Choice High School. The project will cost approximately $27,051,000 will completed in March 2008.
 

November 2006

Regent Development had entered into a Preliminary Services Agreement with the Chawanakee Unified School District for the lease/leaseback development of the new Minarets High School. The project will cost approximately $60,000,000 and be completed in the fall of 2009.

May 2006

Regent was awarded an Exclusive Right to Negotiate Agreement for the historic Henery Building with the City of Stockton Redevelopment Agency on May 9, 2006. The scope of the project is to determine the feasibility of converting the Henery Building, which is located in downtown Stockton, into market rate, for-sale housing units.
